The Project

The InterEd project aims to integrate a pedagogical methodology for secondary education that utilizes interdisciplinary and Phenomenon Based learning (PhenoBL). This will help students acquire deep learning on relevant topics and develop transversal skills. Additionally, secondary teachers will have access to ready-to-use resources for interdisciplinary teaching in their History, STEAM, Culture, and Economics classes.

InterEd is developing a compendium on interdisciplinarity in secondary education, a virtual learning lab with a framework of values and attitudes, and interdisciplinary pedagogical micro-unit lesson plans using PhenoBL approaches. To this end, InterEd organises roundtables, video podcasts, webinars, training activities, experiential labs, pilots, science cafes, co-creative workshops and world cafe activities to gather feedback on needs and perceptions and to involve target groups in the process.

Primary targets include secondary education teachers in History, Languages, Culture, STEAM and economics, education institutions, and students.

InterEd leverages a consortium of transnational partners, integrating Podcasts, Innovation Workshops, Virtual Learning Labs, Experiential Labs and Science Cafes. Deep tech and natural disaster experts actively contribute to a Pedagogical Guide, ensuring alignment with labour market needs.
